Bringing together a wealth of industry expertise and forward-thinking leadership, the board ensures that Education360 continues to evolve in alignment with the needs of schools and education providers. Their insights help shape meaningful enhancements, drive innovation, and uphold our commitment to delivering impactful, data-driven solutions. Through sound governance and a shared vision, the board fosters the continuous improvement of Education360, ensuring it remains a trusted partner in education analytics.

Maria Alberto

Learning Leader

Xavier College

Maria Alberto is a passionate educator and school leader driving evidence-informed improvement. She currently serves as the Professional Learning Leader at a K–12 college and is an active member of professional networks, including Research Informed Schools, the Australian Education Research Organisation’s Panel of Educators, Teachers, and Leaders, as well as the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement Evidence-Informed Change and School Leadership networks. 

Maria has recently contributed to Monash University’s Quality Use of Research Evidence project, an evidence translation pilot from the Churchie Institute, and she is completing a Master of Instructional Leadership at the University of Melbourne.

Margaret Banks

Head of Data Informed Practice & Head of Learning Information Technology

Penola Catholic College

Margaret is a passionate educator and data-driven leader with thirty years of experience in education, including teaching, IT delivery and leadership roles. She has a proven ability to leverage student data to identify learning gaps, personalise instruction, and improve overall student achievement. 

Margaret successfully implemented school-wide data dashboards, empowering teachers with actionable insights to personalse instruction and providing Positions of Leadership (POLs) with valuable data for both strategic and tactical decision-making. She is committed to creating a data-driven culture that supports student success and fosters continuous school improvement.

Ryan Broadsmith

Professional Officer

Education Strategy with Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA)

Ryan Broadsmith is the Professional Officer for Education Strategy with Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA). During his career, Ryan has worked alongside schools to implement governance, risk, compliance and child safety platforms and develop intuitive reporting tools and processes for teachers, principals, school boards and governing bodies. 

He has a passion for implementing smart, effective and useful reporting systems which aid both schools and governing bodies in their ultimate aim of providing better outcomes for their students. Ryan is a trained teacher and a former Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. 

Michael Burgess

Director

Education Resource Options

Michael Burgess has 32 years of experience in School Administration and holds a Master’s in Electronic Commerce. As the Director of FP Software, he enhances user experiences in virtual platforms. Recognized by ASBA (WA) and EducatePlus, Michael focuses on integrating extended reality into all learning areas. 

His work at Trinity College included infrastructure improvements, virtual reality, and digital transformation in finance and data analytics. Michael collaborates with individuals and organisations to further his mission to assist education administrators to enhance their roles.

Sheridan Coverdale

Head of Enhancement and Diversity

Melbourne Archdiocese, Dept of Education, Catholic Education

With extensive school leadership knowledge and school reviewer experience, Sheridan is dedicated in supporting primary and secondary schools in transformation and continuous improvement. Working with evidenced-based informed practice, data analysis and schoolself-reflection processes, she supports school leaders in determining new directions across all aspects of school leadership and management

Sheridan has vast experience in school compliance – VRQA and Child Safe Standards as well as leading schools in Wellbeing, neurodiversity and NCCD management. She has extensive experience presenting at large conferences facilitating change management and in delivering and mentoring aspiring leaders. Sheridan is excited to continue to significantly impact and inform schools in data analysis practice that support them in ongoing, continuous improvement. 

Jessica Davies

Head of Data & Insights

National Heart Foundation

Jessica is dedicated to helping organisations use their data safely, efficiently and purposefully. With bachelor’s degrees in computer science and spatial information, along with a PhD combining these fields, she has worked across government, transport, utilities, sports and the nonprofit sector tackling complex data challenges. 

She focuses on improving data literacy within organisations and establishing effective data governance practices. Committed to education and skill development, she has served on the Tintern Grammar Board for nine years and currently holds the role of Chair.

Bhavika Unnadkat

Head of Data Enablement & Governance

Energy Australia

Bhavika Unnadkat is an accomplished leader in data analytics, governance, and knowledge management, passionate about driving strategic initiatives that create meaningful business impact. She specializes in transforming data into actionable insights while upholding best governance practices.

Beyond her corporate role, Bhavika strongly advocates diversity in STEM and actively supports initiatives that empower women in technology. She serves as the Chair of the Board for the Women’s Association South East Melbourne Australia (WASEMA) Inc., a Board Member at the Australian Parents Council, and a Committee Member with Vic ICT for Women’s Mentor(SHE:) program.

Mark O'Neil

Director

Tea Tree Ink

Mark has over 30 years of experience developing and growing existing and emerging organisations in the Education space. As Managing Director of Cambridge University Press, Australia, and Chief Executive of HOTmaths Pty Ltd, Mark led strategies to provide curriculum-focussed and time-saving solutions for teachers, students and schools in Australia and around the world.

He has governance experience on multiple Boards and Committees over many years, serving variously as Chair, Company Secretary and Treasurer on Boards in Australia, Japan and India. He is Founder and Director of Tea Tree Ink, set up to provide high-quality leadership, learning and publishing services.

Sara Scott

Special Education Teacher

Sara Scott is a dedicated educator with over 25 years’ experience in teaching, assessing and addressing student needs, including working in the TAFE system and in schools dedicated to supporting students with additional needs. She is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and has a proven track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve student success. 

Skilled in implementing evidence-based programs, utilising data to inform decision-making, and promoting equity and inclusion, Sara is committed to making a meaningful impact in education. Eager to bring strategic vision and hands-on expertise to the Education360 board member role, she is focused on driving transformative change to ensure all students have the opportunities they need to thrive.

Imka Seecharan

IT Executive | Director, Technology Strategy & Operations

Department of Education

Imka is a dynamic IT executive with over 20 years of experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, program delivery, and digital transformation. With expertise across government, management consulting, and higher education, she has successfully led organisations through complex change, driving innovation and building high-performance teams.

A passionate advocate for education, Imka believes that harnessing the power of research and learning is key to driving meaningful change and solving the world’s most pressing challenges. She is dedicated to improving educational outcomes through strategic leadership and transformative technology solutions, bringing a forward-thinking approach, experience, and vision to the Education360 Board.

Paul Staniscia

Head of Primary

Southern Cross Grammar

Paul Staniscia is a distinguished educational leader, currently serving as Head of Primary at Southern Cross Grammar. In 2019, he was honored with the Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) New Voice in School Leadership award, recognising his forward-thinking approach and significant contributions to education. He has also been acknowledged as an ACEL VIC Fellow, underscoring his commitment to educational excellence.

With extensive experience in curriculum development, teacher professional learning, university education, and instructional leadership, Paul is dedicated to enhancing education through evidence-based practices. He has collaborated with the Mathematical Association of Victoria (MAV) as an education consultant and has contributed to the educational leadership landscape through published articles in the Australian Educational Leader and Prime Number journals. Paul serves on the Board of Directors at MAV and is an active member of the ACEL Editorial Board.

Brayden Stone

Director

Ivanhoe Institute

Brayden brings over 20 years of extensive experience in K-12 education to the Governance Board at Education360. With an educational background spanning more than 15 years in senior leadership roles, including positions as School Principal, Deputy Principal, and currently serving as the Director of the Ivanhoe Institute, Brayden has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to educational excellence.

His diverse experience across all three education sectors, Independent, Catholic, and Government provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within each system. This breadth of experience is complemented by his board-level expertise, ensuring that he brings a strategic and informed perspective to the Governance Board.
